Thee Attacks is playing on A38 in Budapest

The Danish EU Presidency and The Danish Cultural Institute presents the rock band Thee Attacks on board of A38 ship in Budapest the 20th of April at 7.00 pm, as part of the Nordic Polar Beat program. The successful band plays in the Rolling Stones style in a contemporary way.

Thee Attacks were formed in 2006 and won the 2007 Northern Rock Award after which they recorded their first EP. When Thee Attacks played at the SPOT Festival in Aarhus in 2009, wrote David Fricke from the Rolling Stone Magazine wrote, that this was in his opinion the best concert on SPOT in 2009. Kieron Tyler from MOJO Magazine wrote about the same concert: ”Thee Attacks are a mod-looking four-piece from Aalborg in north Denmark. Soulful vocals complement a '65-era Townshend guitarist who whacks out Have Love, Will Travel-style riff after riff. So good - and with no covers - they'll easily move beyond the garage and could crossover to become a successor to The Hives. Primitivist über-producer Liam Watson is here and smiling along.”

Time: The 20th of April at 7.00 pm

Venue: A38 Ship, Petőfi Bridge Buda side.
